Power to heat
The tubra®-eTherm S detects surplus electricity from PV systems, determines the available power and passes it on to an electric heater. In this way, excess electricity is converted directly into thermal energy and stored. Power electronics for stepless control of 3 kW electric heating elements for buffer and drinking water tanks.

Power to heat stations from tuxhorn store energy in heat accumulators with significantly higher storage capacities than in batteries. They are used exclusively for heating water by means of electric heating element in the flow-through principle.
